Heathrow runs as one master association over thirteen neighborhood associations and thirty neighborhoods, each with a distinct architectural character. Roof material, paint color and even circular drives can be allowed in one and prohibited in the next. A display suited to Coventry can look wrong in Stonebridge, so we start with which neighborhood is yours.
The roof material decides the clip
Barrel tile, flat tile, shingle, metal and stucco trim each take a different clip, sized to that surface. No nails and no staples go into your roof or fascia, so the house looks the same in February as it did before the first strand went up.
Rooflines, Oaks, Entries and the View From the Fairway
Heathrow has been filling in since 1985, and the oaks along its streets have had decades to spread. Lots run deep, with circular drives, columned entries and rear elevations facing the golf course or a lake. A display has to read from the street first, then from the back, which on those lots is a second front.

Every visit, from the design consultation to the January takedown, comes through the guardhouse, so each date is set with you well in advance.
Design at home
Brad Sloan brings the demo trailer to every consultation, so you judge real light against your own facade, not a brochure.
Plan and price
You receive an itemized plan and price, and the install date is yours once the design is approved.
Install and review
The crew installs everything, then you review it together after sunset, and any line that sits uneven gets corrected.
Remove and store
In January the crew returns, takes down every strand and clip, and keeps the display with us until next November.

Central Florida Decembers stay mild until a front arrives. Then the wind gusts, a band of rain crosses Seminole County, and damp mornings follow. Commercial grade bulbs, clips fitted to the roof they sit on, and in-season service exist for that week, so a shifted run brings the crew back, not you up a ladder.

Before You Book a Heathrow Display
Our neighborhood requires a tile roof. How do the lights attach?
With clips made for tile, sized to barrel or flat profiles. Shingle, metal and stucco trim each get their own clip too. No nails and no staples go into the roof or fascia.
Our neighborhood has its own architectural rules. Does that change the design?
It can. Each of Heathrow's thirty neighborhoods sets its own standards, so tell us which one you live in and share any holiday guidelines it has. The design is drawn to fit them.
Can you light the side of the house that faces the golf course or a lake?
Yes. On golf and lake lots the rear elevation is planned as its own view, with its own roofline and tree work, and shown on the itemized estimate so you can decide.
How far ahead should we book?
October and November are the main booking months, and installs start in early November. Dates are scheduled in the order requests come in, so earlier booking gives you the widest choice.
What happens if wind from a front knocks a section loose?
Call and the crew comes back to secure it. In-season service runs through the holidays, so a loose or dark run gets put right without a ladder in your hands.
Can our neighborhood association light its entrance?
Yes. Sloan Lighting Solutions designs and maintains entrance and common area displays for community boards, then removes and stores them after the season, all on one scope of work.
Do we have to store anything after the holidays?
No. The display comes down in January and stays with us, labeled, until it goes back up next season. Nothing ends up in your garage.
